A pub with, dare we say it – Je ne sais quoi!

Stylishly decorated with antiques and salvaged furniture, The Lion Public House is an eclectic mix. The bar is pure French theatre – black bar top adorned by tall chrome taps dispensing not just beer but also wine and, uniquely, Prosecco.

If you prefer to hear the whoosh of a cork leaving the bottle, we have an impressive wine wall from which to choose.

If hops are more your thing than grapes, then we have a selection of continental lagers (not just French) and real Ale including our very own Lion Ale for you to savour.

Stand at the bar or recline in a leather wingback chair in front of the log burner when it’s cold outside and when the weather is warm, we have two outside areas for dedicated to the pleasure of eating and drinking.
