Trying to stay true to its public house history, The Lion Inn has a no booking policy for the majority of the year except for the 'occasion' days of Valentine's Day Dinner, Mother's Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve Dinner when we operate a bookings only policy.   Reservations can be made for Christmas Eve but we also welcome walk-in customers on this day.  
 
For the remainder of the year, the following applies:
 
Sunday - Saturday lunch: limited bookings of 10 or more persons
 
Sunday - Friday dinner: limited bookings of 10 or more persons
 
Saturday - We take no bookings for the main restaurant on Saturday evenings but our private dining room is available to hire for lunch (and dinner  from 3rd January 2012) on this day for 20 - 34 people.   However, we make exceptions for our hotel residents - so if you have a special occasion, why not stay with us and enjoy a guaranteed table in the restaurant!

The pub/restaurant is open 364 days a year including all Bank Holidays except Boxing Day when we are closed.   Usual trading hours apply, except for all bank holiday Mondays when the restaurant is open 11.30 - 8.00 pm.
