A natural extension to the bar area, The Eatery maintains an elegant mix of old and new. We have recently replaced our outside decking area with a stylish Victorian inspired conservatory so you can enjoy the views no matter what the weather.

For most of the year, we do not operate a booking system - please see our Booking Info page for more details - (unless your party is for more than 10) so you can arrive and peruse the menu at leisure. Starter and main course orders are placed at the bar and we are happy to assist with orders for dessert, coffee or more drinks.

Our menu is based on good pub grub that's been given a continental feel.

We know you’d expect to find steak, fish & chips and a delicious shortcrust pastry pie but we also hope to tempt you with a number of ‘specials’ which change daily according to supply and season.

Whichever you choose, it is freshly prepared and cooked to order - our brigade of 10 chefs awaits the pleasure of cooking for you.

Lunch with family and friends is a great excuse to eat out on a Sunday, why not join us to sample our traditional roast and other familiar favourites.
